Our Masterclass Seascape Photography Workshop is set in the beautiful coastal towns of Arniston and De Kelders. This workshop is designed for photographers of all levels who want to learn how to capture the stunning coastal landscapes of this area. Jon and Kyle will guide you through the technical aspects of seascape photography, including composition, exposure, and post-processing techniques. You will have the opportunity to put your newfound skills into practice as we explore the rugged coastline, white sandy beaches, and clear blue waters of Arniston and De Kelders. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, this workshop will help you take your seascape photography to the next level.

Arniston: Tours

One of the key elements of seascape photography is the ability to capture the movement of the water. Whether it's the gentle lapping of waves on the shore or the powerful crash of a wave against a rocky cliff, the movement of water adds a dynamic and dramatic element to seascape images. We will discuss different techniques for capturing the movement of water, including the use of slow shutter speeds and intentional camera movement.
After we meet in Arniston we will cover a wide range of topics that are essential for capturing stunning seascape images including elements of composition, technical aspects of exposure, including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, and other techniques to create visually pleasing images. We will also discuss the use of filters, such as polarisers and neutral density filters, to enhance your seascape images.
In addition to the technical aspects of seascape photography, we will also discuss the importance of light and how to use it to your advantage, and how this can create mood and atmosphere in your images.
As we explore the coastal towns of Arniston and De Kelders, we will visit a variety of locations that offer unique opportunities for seascape photography. We will visit white sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, and picturesque fishing villages, each offering their own unique set of photographic challenges and opportunities. Jon and Kyle will be on hand to provide guidance and critique as you take your photographs, helping you to improve your skills and take your seascape photography to the next level.
We will also cover post-processing techniques that will help you to enhance your seascape images and bring out their full potential. We will discuss how to use software such as Lightroom and Photoshop to improve exposure, color, and contrast, as well as how to use selective editing to bring out the best in your images.
This workshop will be a great opportunity for photographers of all levels to improve their skills and take their seascape photography to the next level. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or an experienced photographer looking to improve your skills, we will provide you with the guidance and support you need to succeed.
We invite you to join us on this exciting journey of exploration and photography as we discover the beauty of Arniston and De Kelders and take your seascape photography to the next level.

REAL TESTIMONIALS

Words from Previous Clients

My first landscape workshop with Jon and  Kyle at Arniston was absolutely fantastic!
Being used to action photography I wanted to understand more about light, filters and slow shutter speeds.
I was not disappointed and walked away with plenty new skills and great images.
Now I keep an eye on all their workshops and join whenever I can.

My husband and I spent a few fabulous days in Arniston with Jon and Kyle on their Seascapes photography Weekend. We were given excellent tuition and learned many things you just can’t learn from Utube. We also met great likeminded people. The accomodation and food were first class. We enjoyed the course so much that we also did their Astro course, which we enjoyed just as much. We would highly recommend joining them.
